Know your Internal Lining Style Preference

Internal lining is the fabric lining, polyester in most cases but can be satin or linen depending upon customer’s preferences, that hides the internal construction of your garment. At Stashi, we always use satin fabric because it is more breathable as compared to polyester. 
For Jacket’s construcion, there are generally two styles in which internal lining is prepared

Plain

Plain internal lining generally come without padding. As mentioned above, internal fabric can be satin , polyester or linen although majority of suppliers use polyester since its cheap. 
Plain internal lining is preferable if you want your garment to accentuate your curves and you want it to be light weight. We at Stashi offer wide range of color options to our customer to choose for internal lining fabric to match from jacket’s exterior. 

Quilted

Quilted internal lining comes with small padding. The thickness of padding can range from 10 mm to 35 mm. After stitching with leather, geometrical patterns are formed to provide stability to internal material.
Quilted internal padding provide more comfort an coziness and little bit of extra warmth depending upon padding size. Quilted internal lining cost more since it required extra material and labor cost.


Whether you prefer plain or quilted internal lining depends upon your style preference and the functional utility. There is no right or wrong when it comes to choosing internal lining
